| Just wondering what's happening with the Rift. Are we going to be able to pick up where we left off? I'd hate to have the run fizzle out when we only have Thrang and the Rog left! Lemme know! | |

| I was tracked down by one of the guys that we ran with on Thurs. It looks like the main contact went hunting over the weekend without paying along our info ... and none of the others thought to put us on friend's list. I have since fixed this problem (GRRRR) Unfortunately, when they couldn't think of a way to find us they picked up what people they could and continued on. I hear they got the Rog down to 50k before they wiped. I'm sure we would have made the difference The good news is that they do have two more raids planned for the upcoming weeks, and I'm working with them to make sure there's good communication back and forth, with no chance of the contact fubar happening again. I would have to claim this run as a limited success. We had a great run and all worked well together ... but we fell casualty to the quickness of everything pulled together. We were all so excited that some of the finer details got left behind, lol Live and learn to fight the Rog another day | |

| I knew I forgot something.
There is no reason that those of us with lock 6 can't try to join a pickup group if we want to take advantage of our momentum. I'm leaning both ways .... really want to kill the darn thing, but jumping into a group is so hit or miss. I'll have to think about it for myself...
And, there's no reason that we can't plan our own run that might overlap their's. Like us, I'm sure they have members that can't make the earlier start times. We'll just have to be careful about locks and such if someone wants to participate in both.
Please PLEASE PLEASE give careful consideration before committing to either run!!! | |

| well here's my deal: i would really like to take advantage of the lock we're on while we're on it.. in my opinion there's no point in getting to the final two bosses and having multiple days to give it a shot, and then just not doing it... i say we should just get a kin raid together and try it out.. if we wipe, we wipe... im willing to spend 200S just to see the Rog, even if we dont kill it so yah, before thursday hits, we should plan a run... i'm positive that Thesis, Therianna, Del, Bel, and Verm would probably like to go (even if they dont get to partake in the first few bosses). plus, delmore has faced the rog before, so he can help out as far as info on how the fight goes and what not (or lead the raid for that matter, i dont care!). anyone that wants to participate should sign up on this post or let gar know... or even let me know and i'll pass the info along... all i know is, i don't want to let this opportunity go to waste, so lets get together and slay this bastard!!!!! we have until this thursday guys, so lets try and get this done ASAP! | |

| Kali has faced the Rog more times then I. but ya after staring the Rog in the....left foot(i'm only as tall as his ankle) i can tell you this. It's a technical fight. Error = wipe really quick. I've seen groups wipe before they even get to the actual Rog fight. Those world eaters are pretty nasty...and you face at least 4 of them(as long as the hunters take down the darklings) if the hunters dont kill all the darklings they will turn into world eaters then you have a hella issue going on. Then there is the lever room where there are friends to play with, then the Everseer Room. and He by himself makes almost every boss in CD look like a lvl 12 goblin. Plus hope wipes, plus the Rog Puke, plus the AOE stomp....yeah....fun stuff Good times ahead | |
